We shared the house, but barely saw the host, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The second floor where we stayed was very spacious. The location felt quite central, yet very quiet. The price was great too.

The welcome was very friendly, the large, quiet room had tatami and futons, a shared bathroom was available, the kitchen opened in the evenings, breakfast was included with bread, eggs, and ham, and the place was truly pleasant with great value for money.

A lovely traditional wooden house with sliding panels, tatami mats, and hardwood floors. The owners are very welcoming and kindly leave kitchen supplies to help out. The beds and futons are comfortable, and the toilet on the upper floor is very convenient. The kitchen and bathroom are on the ground floor. It’s a 15‑20 minute walk from the main train station and the ferry, reachable via a covered arcade (handy if it rains or gets hot). A convenience store is 80 m away. Nothing to complain about.
