“Great hotel in great location”
The room was lovely, spacious, and had a clean bathroom with daily housekeeping. The area is great, with lots of bars and restaurants right on your doorstep, and there was nothing negative to mention.
“Stylish, centrally located hotel”
The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city, with many places of interest within easy walking distance. The $150 extra deposit for damages feels ridiculous, especially since the rooms aren’t inexpensive, and I’m not sure what a normal couple would damage to justify it. Adding a $200 deposit for incidentals at check‑in was also annoying, though it didn’t affect the single night we stayed.
“Lovely hotel, thoughtful & helpful staff”
The place was great, and the entire staff were very helpful, even arranging a late check‑out for us. They added sweet little extras like a bookmark for the book on my bedside table and a glasses‑cleaning cloth. The downside was that the room was at the front, right over Main Street, so it could get a bit noisy.
“Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of downtown Toronto”
We stayed for the Toronto International Film Festival, and the hotel is right in the middle of all the action.
“Great place to stay for your first visit to Toronto”
The spot is spot on, right near all the main sights, and the room was huge and bright with a superb bathroom and a bed that really let me sleep. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the bar on the main floor was a nice touch.
