Breakfast was good, though I would have liked a pot of coffee. The bathroom light kept flickering off while I was showering.

The host was friendly and went out of his way to help my daughter‑in‑law with the kids, especially since she didn’t realize there were no shops nearby for milk. There’s a small personal TV lounge attached to the bedroom. I even got out of bed to let my other son in when he didn’t have the code and his phone was flat, so he couldn’t call me for it. The roads to the village were a bit dicey with cracks and bumps, and I had to be careful or I could have ended up in the river.

The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and parking for our motorcycles was straightforward; we could also use the host’s outbuilding to stash bags we didn’t need each day, which was a huge help—thanks, Barry! Dinner was lovely on both evenings, so I can recommend this place thoroughly. Nothing to moan about, which is rare for me.

Breakfast was freshly cooked, though it would be nice if they provided coffee in a pot. The bulbs in the bathroom that worked on sensors went out while I was using the shower.
