On arrival the reception gave us all the info we needed, and there was a disabled parking space right outside the door. The room felt basic but had everything we needed; the mattress was firm, which suited me. Breakfast fuelled us for the journey home, so if we travel that way again we’ll definitely stay at the Wessex. The heating was on in the bathroom, covering the whole room and making it very warm—suitable for my wife but rather hot for me.
