The surroundings were flawless, the breakfast spread was massive, and there were only a handful of issues.

The main building feels like an old stone warehouse and offers plenty of options for breakfast, though the coffee falls short; the standard room is cramped, as is the bathroom, and the on‑site restaurant disappoints—there are far better choices just outside.

We drove our rental car down a steep hill, almost reaching the bottom before continuing, and the narrow streets with outdoor dining tables brushed the car’s mirrors by mere centimetres before we finally turned onto the street where the hotel sits. The staff handled our bags and took the keys to hide the car, and the hotel itself is an atmospheric old building perched between cliffs and sea. I was impressed by the quality of the facilities, especially the private outdoor pool that felt very peaceful and well designed. The waterfront offered a private lounge area for guests with a platform to jump into the impossibly clear blue sea, all beside a nice restaurant and bar. I could have stayed a few more days.

The place was very clean and the location superb. Our room was tiny but comfortable, and breakfast was average. The beach location was great. The staff were very friendly. Because of the very central location, it was quite loud at night, but that’s the same in all hotels in the area.
