“Séjour très agréable à refaire.”
The property sits amid vineyards, the 17th‑century building is beautiful, and the gardens and pool are lovely, plus the facilities… but the hot water arrives late in the shower.

The bed‑and‑breakfast is amazing and luxurious. The castle is stunning and tastefully decorated, with 400 hectares of land and 59 hectares of vineyards. It feels like home in a castle for your stay, and you can cook in the kitchen if you wish, plus they serve a great breakfast.

The place was clean, the views were beautiful and the atmosphere pleasant. The breakfast, however, was very sparse – only eggs, bread, fruit, yogurt plus coffee, juice, water. The fruit wasn’t fresh and the eggs had to be cooked by us. I think the hotel should emphasize that guests bring their own food for breakfast (cheese, cold cuts, for example). For lunch and dinner, guests need to cook from their own groceries. Shops are nearby but you have to drive. Also the local restaurants in town/village have very limited hours, closed from 14:00 to 18:30. The hotel should inform arriving guests about this.

The property is stunning, with a top‑class pool and sauna that’re perfect for relaxing. It has a lot of character, and the château’s wines are excellent, especially the Amalia red cuvée. The welcome service is also very pleasant. The only downside is that the mattress comfort could be improved.
