The room was quite decent, with perfect bedding and a very courteous host. However, the doors creaked—tighter hinges would help—and the handle edges were dirty. The bathroom lacked a hand‑drying towel and the shower curtain was questionable, as was the bath mat. The host’s relaxed style was evident in the morning, when the robe was poorly closed over a prominent belly and the slippers were worn out. Around 8:00‑8:30 am, the laundry, probably still damp from the dryer, was left on the table, likely because the guest was single.

The location is great, right by the highway and close to the village. It was so cheap that there was nothing to complain about.

The staff were helpful. I had a big problem with my car and returned for a second night while it was being repaired. He opened the door from a distance to help me find a forgotten item, trusting me. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean except for a few spider webs near the locked bathroom cabinet. There were no power outlets near the beds. The light switches were large and the reading lights were only reachable from the single bed. There was no key for the room. Opening the ground‑floor entrance door was slightly complicated (electronic – you have to wait). But nothing important was missing. A dirty pair of underwear was left on the common bathroom floor by another guest, which I had to move and it stayed there for 24 hours.

“Gezellige en praktische kamer voor tussenstop”

The host greeted us warmly and was very helpful, which made the stop during our trip practical. The room was spacious and very cozy with useful items inside. The shared bathroom and the noise from other guests are things you have to accept.
