The location is great, the welcome was very pleasant and the manager is super friendly. All those little bungalows are very pretty, and the whole spot feels charming. The bedding was a bit too firm.

The resort sits right on the beach and looks beautiful. We had fantastic days there. Whenever we had questions or requests, Robert the owner handled them immediately, and we found nothing to complain about.

The Thai staff did an excellent job and were very friendly. The room was always cleaned to a high standard. We liked the location, although the beach is rocky at low tide. The walk from the bungalow to the beach is lovely, and there are good spots nearby for drinks and food. At high tide the beach is very nice. I would strongly encourage the owner and manager to stay a few nights in the property to understand the issues. The bungalows were devoid of any character or colour and were very sterile white. The lighting was incredibly bright and not suitable for the evening or for when you go to the bathroom at night. The bed was ridiculously firm and you could feel every spring. When we mentioned this, the staff put a mattress topper which made a massive difference, so I don’t know why they don’t do that in the first place. We didn’t feel the property had a Thai‑style welcome and we were not even shown around the room. The lounge area did not have much of a vibe and lacked anything going on in the evening. Having said that, I think they are going for something we are not; they had sport on the TV and that’s not why we come to Thailand personally. The coffee was instant freeze‑dried :/ and not tasty, but a few doors down we found a place that did a great coffee.

The hotel's location near a serene beach was a major plus, and the beach bar and friendly staff only added to the charm. However, the mattress was surprisingly firm, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
