The property is a beautifully restored old city villa, just across the street from the medieval town center, and everything is tastefully done in a mix of modern and authentic 19th‑century style—no complaints, just setting expectations. Free public parking is only a few minutes' walk on quiet streets. The room was very spacious and inviting, with furniture and aromas thoughtfully chosen, making for an extremely comfortable stay. Breakfast offered a well‑balanced assortment of local products and produce, all high quality and well presented. The host was extremely welcoming, pleasant to chat with, and always ready with the right pointers to get us where we wanted to go. The only drawback was that soundproofing isn’t great; although above average for this type of building, thin wooden window frames let in cars, bikes, and occasional construction noises from below, which detracts from the experience.
