“Everything about it was poor.”
The room was dirty and tiny, and everything else was bad.

It was normal, both good and bad.
Nothing was good, everything was bad.

We were very disappointed at Vicarage Lodge Birmingham: the room and its surroundings were filthy, with almost no proper facilities; the room smelled bad, and the bed and sheets looked unclean. The toilet was so small it was hard to move around, and the sink didn’t drain properly. Overall the accommodation wasn’t suitable for a comfortable night’s sleep, and the property looked very different from the online pictures. We would not recommend Vicarage Lodge Birmingham to other guests, and its cleanliness, facilities and overall condition need major improvement.
“I enjoyed Birmingham itself but didn’t feel safe at times.”
It was cheap and very basic, but the bed was too soft and a bit uncomfortable for me. The metro station was about a 15‑minute downhill walk, and getting back was a struggle for me.
