The hotel’s rooms and the whole town look nicely renovated and kept up. The restaurant cooks well, and we enjoyed pizza. The surroundings are lovely, you can spend time in the park, wander around, and take short walks with little kids or if you’re older and less mobile. The reception is in a different building about 300 m away, and parking is only possible at the central parking lot about 400–500 m away. The restaurant closes at 8 pm, the kitchen ends at 19:30 and they don’t call for last orders, so we left one evening quite disappointed. We had a room on the main road, which in summer meant cars were in the way when we ventilated. In the hotel, especially in the room, everything was unnecessarily scented. The sauna (and the whole wellness) is in another building 500 m away; you have to book a one‑hour slot in advance (we had 3 options). The sauna itself was pretty OK, but cooling down after was hard because there’s no pool or showers dedicated to that, only a trickle from the top, so you had to cool your head too. In the end I showered at the entrance, which had a normal shower head. The benches before the sauna were hot. A pleasant surprise was the option to book a massage. I went to Kralovská massage, which according to the description was supposed to be individualized to the client’s needs. It wasn’t – the lady simply told me she’d warm my back and massage my feet. Worse, I barely felt the massage, but I sensed that for about a third of the time she was texting on her phone while massaging my feet, so it smelled oddly only from one hand. I specifically asked her to focus on my back because I had pain between my shoulder blades and she could have helped, but I still barely felt any massage. To make it easier for herself, she put a band on me. She massaged only my joints the whole time, so she couldn’t feel anything. For 1500 Kc it was definitely the worst experience of the whole holiday, and given that it’s priced the same as professional physiotherapy in Prague, it’s really disappointing. Even a complete amateur could have done better. Breakfast ran from 7 to 10. We were there three times, each time arriving around 9 pm. At 10:30 they started collecting, and by 10:40 everything was taken away. One time there was bread. The man at the next table asked about another one.

The rooms are spacious, the pizzeria is pleasant, and the wellness is a bit weaker.

The only complaint is the lack of blackout curtains or blinds in the room. The curtains that are there don’t block outside light, so I was woken up by the sun at 4 am.

The location, facilities, and cleanliness of the hotel are good. Food and the bus stop are right next to the hotel. The Italian food at the hotel restaurant is tasty. The main downside is the strong noise from the main road next to the hotel. Once the window is closed the noise is minimal, but in summer nights with the window open it can be a problem. Unfortunately the hotel can’t do anything about that. Otherwise we were very satisfied.
