The location is very convenient, only a short walk from the city centre and the train station. The accommodation was clean and the owner was kind. The room was as small as the bathroom, but the décor was adequate. It’s fine for a night or two.

The bathroom felt a bit too small, though it was well equipped.

The room is in a very convenient spot, close to the centre and the train station. It’s clean, with an air‑conditioner and fridge. The owner was very friendly. Ideal for a weekend in Modena.

The location and courtesy were good. The bathroom was tiny and not very functional. It’s acceptable for a single night but not for longer stays.

The main drawback of the homestay was the poor key hand‑over. I had scheduled a time for arrival, but the host waited in front of the entrance gate. Italian door locks are much harder to open than Japanese ones, so when I emailed for help they responded quickly. Even after two incidents they handled everything with a smile, and I’m really grateful. Inside the room, a fridge, electric kettle, and electric espresso machine were all handy.
