The lady at reception gave us the wrong code number and we couldn’t get into the hotel later until one of the guests shared theirs.

Great location to walk to the center quickly, parking, easy to reach. Simple structure but good value for money. Small communal kitchen available for use. Staff only present at check‑in. It’s close to a busy street and windows open at certain times bring in noise.

The receptionist was really pleasant. Check‑in was quick and everything else was easy. The hostel is clearly renovated and looks nice. However, a good price seems to attract odd folks, at least. At 10 pm there was a strong garlic odor coming from the staircase. Who cooks at that hour? Then, at 4:30 am there were loud male and female voices in the corridor. Children were fast asleep, but the noise woke me up. Nothing to be alarmed about, but I guess more expensive hotels keep primitives like these at arm’s length, or they have someone on the premises who can intervene.
