The station was nearby. The toilet paper was left on the floor, the elevator smelled of cigarettes, and a foul, sewage‑like odor came from the bathroom.

It felt heartfelt. Nothing in particular to complain about.

Even though it’s a hotel from an older generation, I felt at home! The staff were very friendly, it’s right next to the station (about 100 m), the traditional breakfast was tasty, and the cozy décor made my stay super pleasant.

The staff were friendly, the price was reasonable, and the breakfast was generous; they also offered warm drinks like coffee as a complimentary service, which I appreciated. The welcome drink, Yakult, was a pleasant surprise. I stayed during an event at Makuhari Messe, and the hotel’s proximity to the station made it very convenient. However, the building feels old; the windows are single‑pane rather than double‑pane, so the night air was harshly cold. I noticed a blanket on the first floor, probably for this reason, and went out at night to grab one. The lack of central air conditioning left my room freezing when I returned, and that was the only real downside.
