The location was amazing. The hotel organized a water taxi to pick us up at the train station, and it was incredible to step off the boat right into the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was incredible. We can’t say enough good things about the helpful front desk workers – they were so knowledgeable and kind.

The hotel is close to Place St. Mark’s, the receptionist is pleasant, very competent, and speaks excellent English. Good breakfast. The air‑conditioning is effective and quiet in the rooms and throughout the hotel. You can arrive by boat taxi from the airport to the hotel’s doorstep in about 30 minutes. The Rococo interior décor is a nice change from modern hotels. The minibar drink prices are lower than nearby bars. The breakfast room is very small and therefore noisy.

Close to the square, there are good restaurants nearby.

The spot is near St Marc square, but the bathroom and toilets are too small, and the shower itself is tiny.

I stayed in a canal‑view room where I could watch gondolas from the window and constantly hear the water, which was very soothing; the staff were also kind. However, the equipment felt old, the outlets were loose and plugs didn’t fit properly, and the breakfast area was very cramped.
