If you’re looking for peace yet want to stay close to Leipzig, this place is perfect, and the hosts are super friendly.

The hosts were very nice. The room is the expanded attic of a side building, quite large, reached by a steep staircase (the toilet and fridge are one floor below). A kettle, coffee machine, toaster, and some dishes are provided, so you can make a decent breakfast. I stored my bike in the building, giving quick access to Markkleeberger See. I could have used the garden and pool, and the bathroom was nice. Washing dishes is a bit awkward (in a plastic bowl in the bathroom). The nearest tram stop is quite far, and I missed a bright lamp by the bed for reading.

I love how quiet it is, and it’s super easy to bike into town and around the lakes.
