We didn’t end up staying there because the owner didn’t want Sri Lankans and asked us to cancel. Their target market is foreigners, so we were really disappointed and helpless in the late evening. We still had to drive all the way to Colombo, but there’s no need to spoil their business.

The staff were great 😃 We felt very free. The stay was absolutely perfect. The host was warm and friendly and immediately helped us arrange our Yala safari. The safari he organized was brilliant, and I’d definitely recommend booking it through him. The room was clean and comfortable with a gorgeous balcony view. We had several meals that were all delicious and fairly priced. The son was also brilliant and helped us with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone!!

The owner was considerate and attentive. Checking in at dusk, the corridor was very quiet with no noise interference, the hot water supply was stable, and all facilities were well maintained. There was no luxurious décor, but it was clean, tidy, and reliable. The highlight was the delicious Chinese meal, which was a big surprise; that night’s rest replenished me for the next leg of the journey. It’s ideal for travelers who value quiet and cost‑effectiveness, and it’s worth recommending.

The staff were very nice and gave us a coconut and juice before we left. They didn’t make a fuss about letting us leave a little later from the room. Some rooms require an extra fee for AC.
