The Old Pantry at Hill Farm

“Wonderful. Simple As.”

The Old Pantry is beautifully and thoughtfully converted—classic, compact, and charming. We loved the location, and the hosts made us (and our dog) feel so welcome. There’s a farm shop on site with fresh produce and a coffee machine, and outdoor seating is available—everything is spotless and the setting is stunning. Clear dog walk paths are marked on the farmland, and there’s a table and chairs set up to enjoy the breathtaking views at the top of the field. Everything is so well planned. The accommodation was great for a two‑night stay, but we might have struggled with space if we stayed for a week or more in the rain.

I had a lovely stay—clean, cosy, and the owners were very helpful. The farm and animals added that extra touch, and the place was nice and peaceful; I’ll definitely come back.

“Cosy well equipped property.”

The property was lovely and had everything we needed, with central heating that was essential in the cold weather and a multi‑fuel burner as an option. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower had plenty of hot water, there was a farm shop on site, and parking was right outside. The only hiccup was getting in and out of bed on the wall side, but I managed a good shuffle after a few tries.

“Spotless, freshly decorated, beautiful setting and lovely hosts”

The location is beautiful and the on‑site farm shop is great. It was the perfect size for our wedding stay, but if you’re staying longer—especially in bad weather—there isn’t really a seating area.
