HOTEL KARAE

“One of the Best Stays in Karatsu!”

We stayed in the mixed dormitory room at HOTEL KARAE, and it was honestly such a great experience. This is definitely not like a regular dormitory! The sleeping spaces are thoughtfully designed and feel much more comfortable and private than a typical shared room. Everything was extremely clean, modern, and well organized. The location is also excellent and very convenient for exploring Karatsu. The whole hotel has a stylish atmosphere, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. If you usually avoid dormitories because you prefer more privacy and comfort, do not let the words “mixed dormitory” put you off. This one feels completely different, and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. We absolutely loved HOTEL KARAE and would happily choose it again whenever we visit Karatsu. Highly recommended! ❤️

The spot is close to the station, which is very convenient, and the staff serving breakfast were very courteous—thanks for the service. Adding private rooms would give even better options.

The place is pretty. No major complaints, but there was someone who kept coughing nonstop, which was bothersome.

The location was great, the hotel itself was clean and easy to use, and I’m glad I chose the breakfast package. Unfortunately, on the last day a fellow guest was coughing nonstop, so I couldn’t sleep in the same room.

It was a dormitory but it was clean and comfortable. The only downside is that it closes at night.
