The surroundings, castle, vineyards, viewpoint, and absolute quiet were lovely, parking was right at the entrance, and key hand‑over was easy via the box. There was no small grill for heating food, and the shower had weak water pressure.
The location was beautiful, the view was nice, it was right next to a castle, the drive was good, and there were enough parking spaces. We booked a suite, but when we arrived it was already occupied and we were offered a standard room instead. After a lot of back‑and‑forth we spent one night in a regular room and the next night in a suite. It felt a bit disorganised, and no staff were on site, only reachable by phone.
The décor was pleasant, I liked the pale green in the room and the white linens. The furniture was nice, fairly high‑quality wood, all in the same style. Booking was simple and the staff on the phone were friendly. The view of the forest and nature was very beautiful and quiet. The price‑performance ratio feels a bit off; I think the price without breakfast and without an on‑site contact person is still too high. The room with balcony and view is rather small. The guesthouse is under renovation, so it’s understandable that not everything is ready yet (the kitchen is still being remodelled).
The view was nice and the air conditioning worked. The internet was not normal, there was no TV, and the bathroom was cramped.
“Hotel dans aucun personnel débrouille toi tout seul..”
We never saw anyone at the hotel during our stay—no receptionist, and we even found two room keys left out, so we settled in an otherwise empty property. Two hours after arriving, a manager called to confirm we were fine… On the morning of checkout, the hotel was still deserted, with none of the three of us seeing a single staff member. It was an unprecedented, dismal experience.
