The location is great, within walking distance of everything you need, and the rooftop cocktail bar and pub on site are convenient. I stayed Friday through Sunday night, expecting noise, but it wasn’t noisy at all; the room was a bit warm, but opening all the windows provided good airflow, better than a portable air‑con.

The location is superb, offering harbour and parkland views while staying quiet and just a stone’s throw from the city; the rooms are lovely, though the historic building may not suit those who dislike old architecture or need extra space and accessibility. I enjoyed every aspect, especially the opening windows and balcony; I prefer the stairs over the lift for emergencies, so those should remain clear and well maintained. No noisy neighbours bothered me during my stay.

The quirky history, great location, and balcony views were highlights, but the old sash windows wouldn’t stay open, which is expected in an older place. A breakfast option would have been nice, and the reception was minimal—knowing who to speak to was unclear, so a WhatsApp contact for questions might help.

Located in Bangaroo, just a few minutes from the metro station which is 3 stops from Central. It is a short walk to the rocks and 20 min walk to the Opera House. Although the room was small, it was fine and had a balcony where you could sit and enjoy the view of the bridge. It is in a historic pub which has a fabulous cocktail lounge on the top floor with great views. There was a long hair on the pillow. Only one coat hanger - how measly is that! The pub/cocktail lounge close at 11pm on a Friday night
