The location was very convenient and the surroundings were quiet, which was nice. The drinks were all free, which I thought was amazing, even though I didn't use them much because it was mostly alcohol. A large potato chip piece was in a corner of the floor, dust had accumulated next to the bed, and mold was spread densely on the shower room wall and part of the door.

There was nothing good. The air‑conditioner didn’t work and the room wasn’t clean; it was smaller than shown in the pictures, and I think the photos should reflect that.

It was great to find a place in Japan where, aside from the bed, there was plenty of space – four people could sleep together and we could spread our suitcases out, and the location wasn’t bad either. Being at one end of the Tenjin underground mall meant we could walk out of the property in about 4–5 minutes and be inside the mall. On the downside, the cleaning was non‑existent – I’ve never had to scrub mold out of a bathroom myself while traveling, and it made me want to vomit. My friends were with me, and I felt terrible for choosing that place, so I ended up cleaning the shower room on the first day; a simple spray of bleach in the toilet would have prevented the problem.

The room was spacious and the PIN‑code lock was handy, plus any issues could be addressed at the outdoor reception kiosk, which was convenient. However, there was a noticeable musty smell, and I think each room should have a high‑end air purifier. Other hotels now consider such purifiers essential in every room, especially after the global pandemic, yet this property lags behind. The lobby and reception see a lot of traffic, so hand‑sanitiser should be available at the front desk at all times.
