The hotel by the river is lovely, and we even saw a rhino up close at the on‑site restaurant—amazing! It’s inexpensive and cheerful; you get exactly what you pay for, which was perfect for us. Everyone who worked there was helpful and kind.

The place is really nice and secluded, right across from the park, but it feels far from everything else.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; Sitarim was a great host and knew a lot about the birds around the hotel, and the manager and guides on our canoe trip were also excellent! It was very hot, but we were lucky to have air conditioning in our room, so it stayed cool.
