The hotel is good for solo adults, especially with the well‑educated staff who remind you of the rules via SMS after arrival. The 10–12 suites are very nice, fronting the pool, and there’s a lounge that doubles as a reception from 8–18; otherwise you need to send an SMS to get the room code and fill out a data form online if you arrive late. There’s also a back area with large tables for breakfast outside, as well as inside the lounge. The natural‑style breakfast includes fresh fruit, cereals, Greek yogurt, juices, jam, and a paid‑alcohol menu available all day. The American coffee comes in a classic carafe, and there is only one type of croissant that tastes stale, like it was made the day before. The owner and staff are always available and very discreet. The breakfast lacks muffins or other American‑style cakes, and the coffee is too strong. The tap water is low quality and unreliable, risking burns while trying to figure out how it works, and it leaks everywhere. The air conditioning is ducted but too strong, blowing directly onto the beds, and the heat is terrible; keeping it off is a struggle.
“Superb. An oasis in the desert.”
I loved this place! Nothing to add.
“My favorite stay in Palm Springs!”
I loved this hotel. The room was very comfortable, with a calm, soothing decor. I enjoyed the Yara room spray. The air conditioning was great and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was delicious—strong, smooth drip coffee, a good selection of quality teas, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, cream cheese, smashed avocados, granola, and yogurt. It was lovely to eat breakfast by the pool every day. The pool was clean, salt‑water, and stayed cool even in 44 °C heat. There were very few guests, making it extremely peaceful. The atmosphere was warm and quiet. The staff were supportive and discreet. We stayed for three nights and regretted not staying longer! It’s located right near Bar Cecil, which is a big advantage.
The staff, amenities, location, and comfort were all excellent.
“10/10, amazing”
Everything at Yara is perfect. We’ve stayed here four years in a row and it’s always a 10/10. Simply an amazing place.
