Hotel u Hradnice is a very clean, centrally located hotel in Asch; check‑in was super easy with no problems, and the price is top. The only criticism is the pillows, which are very lumpy and not good for sleeping; please consider swapping them for the landlord.

“Nicht nochmal...”

I wouldn’t book this place again; I felt uncomfortable from the poor service to the noise coming from the nearby Havanna Club. A cleaning lady in the early morning rattles the stairwell tiles with full force, and at check‑out, the Turkish gate was ripped multiple times by someone trying to get in—why even have check‑out times? The room was freezing at night, the heating didn’t work, and Wi‑Fi only worked near the door. I had asked to check in at 13:00, confirmed weeks ahead, but a message came saying the room would be ready at 14:00—what’s the point of an agreement? Changing from two to one person was difficult, and even the booking staff just shook their heads at the process. In the end, the accommodation couldn’t handle it, so I had to pay for two people even though I had sorted it out early. Service and friendly contact were zero—just frustration. Thanks, never again.

Wir hatten Probleme mit der Eingangstür aber beim Anruf konnte man uns sofort helfen! Abreise war ohne Probleme 1 Stunde später nach unserer Bitte!. Die Betten sind sehr schmal!

“generally I enjoyed the stay and would return”

The rooms are large and look almost new, with a bigger shower. The only downside is the lack of dark or thick curtains to block morning light, and the doors need maintenance because of noise; installing a gasket between the door and frame and probably replacing the lock would help.
