The sleeping area and the restaurant felt very cozy, almost like a living room, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was extensive and excellent, with fresh bread and toppings. We were the first to try a dish from the newly updated menu, and it was great—both the wild meat and the dorade were delicious, as were the starters and desserts, and there were plenty of options. The staff were friendly, and don’t forget the wine, which was also good and matched our dishes perfectly. I’m not strictly vegetarian, but I noticed there were no vegetarian options on the menu; it might help to ask ahead, though I’m sure the kitchen can accommodate.

The room was the quietest I’ve ever stayed in.

We had a fantastic dinner in the garden, exceeding expectations. One small issue: it would be better if breakfast started earlier; it currently begins at 9.00.
