The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the evening meal was fine; breakfast was excellent. However, on our wedding anniversary we received no special touches, and an all‑day/evening soul party was happening without our knowledge—loud until midnight with staff busy around the event, leaving regular guests neglected.
The room was okay for the price, but the breakfast had undercooked eggs—so bad that I took pictures, and we could have gotten sick if we ate them.
“Quaint,.Unique, scenic”
The countryside setting, the quiet peaceful area, Girls at the reception were fantastic, Restaurant staff brilliant and attentive and food was excellent. Not much wrong here, just one thing would be.if they ask if you want water make sure to say "normal tap" water as accepting the water offer will cost you over 5 pounds.fairly expensive for water in a bottle
“Perfect for a relaxing night away”
The quirky rooms and the double‑decker bus for the reception were fun, the staff were very polite, and there was a little farm shop on site, but for the price we paid for one night I expected a few more complimentary items.
The entire stay was flawless from beginning to end, the food was fantastic, the grounds look breathtaking, and every staff member was friendly and ready to help with anything. The only downside for me was that I would have preferred a door to the bathroom instead of just a curtain—just a personal preference.
