The room was clean, spacious for a single bed, and had a large bathroom. There’s a shared kitchen with other guests – we didn’t use it, but it looked equipped. The owner was friendly and helpful. It was very noisy; you could hear every word from neighbors and through windows. There was zero soundproofing. Behind the room wall is a laundry room and a boiler that starts at 7 am, so from that time onward you hear the machines. Parking is on the street where everyone drives as they wish – all cars get scratched or dented. In the end we parked 10 min away from the room in paid spots because, aside from the danger of a car on those roads, there was no closer spot to park. Before the room door is a vestibule with no roof (even though we’re inside the building), so when it rained everything got wet.

Great location, right in the center. The room was very nice, clean, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was very kind and responsive, answering any questions we had promptly. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended!.

The apartment sits just a 7‑minute walk from Via Etnea, the main pedestrian zone, and only 10 minutes on foot from the bus station, so the spot is spot‑on. The team were excellent, especially Samuel who was there whenever we needed him and even swapped towels on request. Even though check‑in starts at 16:00, we arrived at 11:00 and the place was already set up, which was a huge relief. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well‑equipped, and we even had an iron and ironing board. On the downside, every time I showered the water would give me a small electric shock, and I couldn’t adjust the temperature—once it was cold it stayed cold, and when it was hot it stayed hot, which is a real issue in hot Sicilian summer weather because you just want a slightly cooler shower. The apartment could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived, but that didn’t bother me too much.

The air conditioning worked well, but the area was full of loose drug users, the beds were uncomfortable, and the shower gave a slight electric shock.
