The room was spotless, but the restaurant staff and food were disappointing: the Chinese dishes were the worst I’ve ever had, with huge dough balls that felt like 1970s fare. We arrived late, so we had to take out from the hotel’s restaurant, yet no utensils or plates were given, and a young woman blamed the kitchen staff for the oversight, which was not helpful or acceptable customer service.

The hotel’s location near the Transcanadienne is convenient, the rooms are comfortable and have microwaves, but the pool is out of service and the only staff speak English—no one speaks French.

It’s close to the airport, but that’s about it. The room was worn out, noisy, the air conditioner cycled on and off, the TV was malfunctioning, and we were right next to the elevator in room 322.

The bedding was clean, but the hotel has a strong, possibly musty smell, especially in the hallways. The plank floor is loose, chipped, and makes a loud noise—like elephants walking—when I walked, and I caught my socks on a few boards; it looks much better in photos.
