The breakfast was really good, and the staff at breakfast were genuinely friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. The parking is a bit inconvenient at the start of the pedestrian zone, and it’s hard to see whether a driveway is allowed; the hotel signage on site is poor. The hotel’s furnishings feel a bit dated, especially the carpet in the room that probably needs replacing. The hotel service was disappointing: the reception was empty when we arrived, and the alternative of checking in at the neighboring restaurant didn’t work because it wasn’t open yet. After calling three times, someone finally answered and we could move into our room a little later. During our stay we left a few clothes behind; even after calling twice the hotel refused to send them back, despite offering to pay shipping costs upfront. I actually had to drive almost 400 km back to Attendorn to pick up the forgotten items.

“Für uns war die Lage wichtig und Unterbringung der Ebikes/ Autos”

The location was excellent, the e‑bike storage was adequate, and free parking was a plus, while breakfast offered a good variety; however, room 23 showed wear with the carpet creasing, and the restaurant/kitchen area stayed noisy until after 11 pm. The description promised a kettle, coffee and tea in the room, but those weren’t provided; instead we received two small bottles of water on arrival and only one bottle per day thereafter.

I wanted to check in late and let the hotel know ahead of time. I sent several emails to them, but got no reply. Only on the day of arrival did they tell me that late check‑in is only for known guests or corporate bookings. Nothing mentioned this on Booking or on their website, so I ended up without accommodation that day.
