The place is about 15 km from the main Dhanaulti centre, which can be inconvenient, but if you want a quiet spot to enjoy nature’s serenity and the real Uttarakhandi village vibe, living in a real forest with native flora and fauna, it’s a blissful place for true nature lovers. The only downside is the distance from the centre; everything else is fantastic!

Staying at Bhandari Cottages, Rautu Ki Beli felt like being at home in the mountains, with spectacular views, delicious food, clean rooms, and heartfelt hospitality that made the trip memorable.

The location met my expectations and the staff were polite, yet the room felt shabby, a bad smell lingered in the bathroom, and the entrance was narrow and risky, almost like falling into a hill gorge.
