The spot is great and having parking right in front of the house is super handy. However, the towels were stained, we found two cockroaches in the room, and the AC only worked from 9 PM to 8 AM—uncomfortable during the day and not mentioned beforehand. Several people who seemed to live there kept using the common areas, making us feel out of place. The kitchen had no paper towels, and the walls were thin enough that we could hear other guests easily. The price, location, and parking were the positives, but the cleanliness, comfort, and common‑area usage really hurt the experience.

The location is great, close to everything. The owner and staff were polite and attentive. The room matched the photos, had TV, AC, blankets, and towels. I was a bit disappointed with a few things: the bathroom had a lot of sludge on the curtain separating the toilet from the shower and on the walls. Unfortunately, many bugs—an scorpion during shower time and several roaches in the room. The location listed on Booking isn’t exactly correct; the front of the lodge has no sign identifying it. They respect quiet hours, but the environment allows loud noise.

“Otima”

The place is really good, probably the best value for money. It’s close to the beach, the pool is inviting (haha), but I didn’t get to enjoy it much because I was tired from traveling. I’ll definitely stay again. Dani is nice, the staff are friendly, and the facilities are well maintained. I’d recommend bringing a lock for the lockers, because when I stayed they were missing.
