The staff were strange.

The place was very clean and the staff were attentive; Ali, the employee, is a very good person—thank you for everything. He is very modest, a nice person, comfortable and clean. The location is a 10‑minute walk to the city center. I recommend it to everyone. It’s the best in Sarajevo, with the best Fiat performance, the most suitable and beautiful posters for travelers and tourists.

The rooms were comfy, but the hotel is a long way from the city centre and the walk up the hill is a bit tiring.

The staff are friendly and attentive, and the nightly rate beats any other offer; the place is quiet and relaxing at night. Even though it’s only a 15‑minute walk from the city centre, the accommodation sits on Sarajevo’s heights, so you’ll need to be ready for a physical effort to get back. There’s no power outlet for the upper bunk in the bunk beds, which is inconvenient, and the bathroom towels aren’t washed regularly unless you ask for it.

It’s basically a home turned into a hostel; the owner isn’t around but volunteers handle everything. The environment is quiet, the kitchen is well equipped, and lockers are available. It’s about a 15‑minute uphill walk from the tourist area, and the price is a great deal.
