The only drawback is the slanted ceiling in the room, which can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re on the taller side.

Our dog loved the massive garden, and the hot tub and sauna were great ways to relax after a day of sightseeing. Olivier was a helpful host, offering plenty of local tips. The only hiccups were the missing hob and kitchen sink – we had to wash baby bottles in the bathroom sink and leave the dirty dishes for Olivier to collect, which was a bit unexpected.
