“A port in the storm.”
Because a nor’easter was coming the next day, we were looking for a safe getaway during the storm; the property is well maintained and the room size is comfortable; breakfast was simple but tasty; the room overlooked the parking lot, and the back of the hotel offered a view of the cranberry bog and trees; however, the room had a strong tobacco smell that stuck to our clothes and luggage, hitting you right when you entered; staff should alert management and have the sofa, curtains, and bedding deep‑cleaned to eliminate the odor.
