The owner and his family were truly kind and moved me deeply. The facilities feel old, as expected from a historic place, but they still offer a comfortable experience that lets you enjoy that sense of history.

Staying in a 350‑year‑old building was amazing! The host, who can speak a little Japanese, was very friendly, and the shower was steaming hot. From the rooftop you can see the Himalayas! The only downside was the steep stairs to reach the dining area.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The atmosphere feels very cozy, with beautiful traditional Nepali décor. The highlight was the excellent breakfast on the rooftop terrace, which offered amazing views of the city and the mountains. The host was exceptionally welcoming, warm, and friendly, making us feel truly at home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained. The location is ideal—peaceful yet perfectly situated close to all the main attractions of Patan. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Patan!

A typical Patan lodging, all wood, with a large room. The hotel is very well located, just 5 m on foot from Durban square. The kindness of our host is incomparable.
