“Great stopover en route to/from the West Country”
The lounge was cozy with a log burner, and all public rooms were tastefully decorated. The bedroom was comfortable, and the bathroom was exceptionally spotless. Food was good both in the evening and for breakfast. The location offered great views of Wilton House and easy access to Salisbury. This hotel is part of a small chain called Chickpea, and I would definitely look for other hotels in that group. Sporadic loud music while dining was a usual problem—music choice was left to 20‑something staff, and the clientele didn’t appreciate it. It also happened intermittently at breakfast.
