The staff were friendly, gave great tips for nice day trips, the place was very clean, the location was top, and both breakfast and dinner were well taken care of – definitely a recommendation!

We spent an extended weekend on a motorcycle at Gasthof Waldwirt and everything was first class. The location in Rußbach is quiet and great, just a short walk to all the beautiful nearby lakes (Gosausee, Hallstatt, Wolfgangsee). I really appreciate the option of online pre‑check‑in, which made arrival completely smooth and fast. The room was clean and comfortable, the food at the restaurant was excellent and the staff were very kind and helpful. We definitely recommend it to everyone and would gladly return!

The location is gorgeous and the staff are friendly! We were received very hospitably and felt welcomed right away. The place is beautiful and atmospheric, and the friendly service made our experience complete. The only downside is there is no air conditioning, which can make the room quite hot on warm summer days.
