The view of Koper and the sea was magnificent, with stunning sunsets; the room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was nice and functional, the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the homemade breakfasts featuring local products were fantastic—especially the yogurt cake with lemon balm and mint, which was unforgettable. Trains didn’t affect the rating.

The view from the terrace with chairs and tables was extraordinary, overlooking the valley; the room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Barbara was kind and suggested a lovely “mini” hike up to the tower above the village, plus a great local restaurant. The nearest restaurants are about 15 minutes by car, which is a minor inconvenience if you want to enjoy the quiet of this secluded village.

The breakfast was superb, featuring produce straight from the owner’s garden, and the owner shared helpful travel tips and recommendations for nearby spots.

I truly enjoyed my time with Predrach and Barbara; the location, view, and breakfast were all fantastic. Predrach even checked with the key holder of the Hrastovlje church to see if it would be open for visitors.
