The cabin is large, and we saw a lit fireplace which was very nice. It was quiet because it was off‑season and the bar next door was closed. Short stays are fine. The Wi‑Fi worked very poorly, so when there was no signal it was a problem. Electricity was billed separately: 55 zł for two nights with three people.

The cottage is fairly large – perfect for four, okay for six because there are three bedrooms upstairs, but cramped for eight, forcing two guests onto the living‑room sofa and leaving insufficient seating at the table for eight, while the sofa only fits four comfortably. It has a fireplace with wood, a big fridge, an oven, and sits in a campsite about 250 m from the lake’s pier, accessed through a gate that’s hard to find. In the “Skrzynia” area you turn onto Skrzynia 14 – there are plenty of towels, toilet paper, kitchenware, three pots, two pans, several bowls, plus a bar serving battered food, waffles, ice cream and beer, which closes quickly when there are no customers. You can rent kayaks and SUPs on site; two kayaks cost 100 zł, one costs 80 zł, a single kayak 120 zł for a pair, plus 7 zł for a short‑route rental and 14 zł for a longer one. Mobile coverage is only available on Play in the Łuby area, while Orange works on the longer campsite route. It’s a good spot for anglers, though swimming is doubtful because the lake water is brown. Nearby is a mini farm with chickens, a donkey, goats, a pony and a sheep, offering kids more than just water and beach. However, you have to pay for electricity according to the meter – over 3 000 zł for a week plus 150 zł for the meter, which was unexpected, and the cottage being inside a campsite wasn’t clear from the description. The kitchen lacks a bottle opener, corkscrew, garlic press, small pan, grater, nutcracker and coffee machine; the rooms have no night tables or bedside lamps, only ceiling lights. The cottage is very echoey, with stair creaks audible at night and rain pounding loudly on the roof. The sofa truly only fits four. There’s no phone signal inside, you must go outside to get service, and the internet drops frequently. Finally, the lake water is brown and not clear.

The cottage was very pleasant, spotless, with a large terrace right by the bar, and the real difference came from the attentive care and warm smile of Mrs Kasia and her small team. We felt those two days were a true reset from everyday life – pure chill. Thank you.

This place was perfect in every way. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. I couldn't have asked for more.
