The hotel isn’t brand‑new, but the value for money is absolutely outstanding; at this low price you can’t expect a 5‑star experience, yet it’s still worth it.

The staff were very friendly, the front desk lounge area was nicely decorated, and the location was great—right in the middle of Megalopolis, a small, welcoming town with few tourists but interesting ruins nearby. When my car got stuck in mud, the front desk was extremely helpful; I had to leave money there for the tow truck to pick up later.

The layout was convenient, the staff were welcoming, and there were interesting design finds that added to the atmosphere. However, there was only one chair in the room and none in the bathroom.

The hotel was right next to the village square, but the photos on the site had nothing to do with the rooms we stayed in. The room desperately needed a renovation yesterday: the door opened by itself if not locked, the walls were cracked and dirty, the bathroom door was also in bad shape, the furniture (except the TV) was shabby, the power outlet was loose, the radiator and the bathroom tap were rusted, and the tap even dripped. The curtain was torn and dust covered everything. There was no soundproofing at all; we heard everything. At 8:50 am there was no one at the reception to leave the key or to complain about the room.

The hotel is very old, and the mattress, pillows, and blankets were all terrible.
