It’s about a 15‑minute walk to Kokusai‑dori, which is handy, and although there’s no on‑site parking like a typical city hotel, a lot right in front costs 1,000 yen per night. The loft‑style bed works for sleeping, but the low ceiling means you keep hitting your head when you sit up. The room is tiny—just a desk, TV, fridge and the basics squeezed into a space that feels more like a prison cell than a place to enjoy a stay; it’s fine if you only need a place to sleep.

It's compact and peculiar. The smoking rooms smelled not too good, and the mattress was 7 cm thick—hard to sleep on, though still better than expected. Not for couples: no space for moving or opening luggage. Sleeping was impossible: one side of the mattress was so close to the ceiling that it felt claustrophobic. I had to open the sliding door to be able to sit on the water.

The coffee service and free popcorn were a nice touch, but tall guests will find the space unsuitable.

Sleeping in the loft was a surprise, but leaving clothes out made the space feel messy; a shelf would have helped.
