Arriving there, everything feels calm and wonderful; the rooms are nice and roomy, the spot and view are fantastic, and the food tastes great. The only downside is that the road to the hotel is a rough off‑road path, so it’s safer to get there during daylight because night or evening travel could be risky.

It never says that you have to drive on a very narrow, unpaved 4‑km path that’s prone to landslides to get to the hotel. The place is so remote that there are no medical or basic grocery services nearby, and the 4‑km drive takes a toll on both your car and your back. I chose the complimentary breakfast, but there were only 2‑3 options, and items like milk cornflakes or curd were not free but charged. When I asked for a simple egg bhurji, the staff couldn’t even manage that. The rooms and common areas were unhygienic, with wild insects everywhere, some of which I had never seen before. I had to beg the staff to get medicine from a chemist shop during a medical emergency. If you want to disappear, this might be a good spot. I suggest increasing staff numbers and prioritising proper training and professionalism. I was utterly disappointed. I tried to cancel my booking and get a full refund, but they didn’t allow it.

The location is the best, offering a magnificent and very beautiful view of the Kempty Mountain Range and a surreal sight of the snow‑capped Himalayan Range. The staff are very friendly, the place is clean and hygienic, and it’s a perfect spot for a romantic getaway with your loved ones or a family gathering. The only tiny issue was that the rooms should have a mirror. That’s it, everything was perfect.
