We arrived with a pre‑paid voucher and the entrance door was broken. The front desk didn’t find our reservation and tried to make a new one. When I saw the place, I panicked, called Booking, and they confirmed the reservation existed. They called the hotel, but the staff at the front desk didn’t answer the phone. Booking sent an email, and after 45 minutes of no response, they cancelled the reservation. I immediately went to another hotel and Booking will refund the difference. I liked that Booking defended its customers. The hotel staff were clueless.

The staff were lovely, the room was spacious, the beds were great, service was solid, the place felt like a boutique hotel without the fancy branding, very family‑friendly. It’s only a 7‑minute walk to the beach, and the public areas never feel frozen or loud. When we checked in, the staff gave us drinks at the pool bar—really sweet. Mostly everything was clean, but when we arrived the drain in the bathtub had hair, and the bathroom smelled like sewage for the first two days. On the third day before we left, we showered in the poolside stalls and after a few minutes the whole room flooded with sewage and a sharp odor—quite disgusting. Every morning around 7:30 a.m., a loud engine started in the room and kept going for almost an hour, waking me up.

The hostel is colorful and charming, and we loved the concept. The front desk staff were friendly, quick to check‑in and check‑out. Breakfast was tasty, fresh, and in a calm, pleasant atmosphere. The room had a view of the mountains and a balcony (we upgraded the room). It was ready on time and had everything we’d ordered. On Thursday night and Saturday, loud party noise carried into the early hours of the morning, which wasn’t the hostel’s fault but made sleeping difficult.
