The staff was very friendly, and housekeeper Annette even came to clean my room when I had an issue, which was nice, yet the room itself was filthy, the bathroom was nasty and dusty, had bugs, and the chairs and ironing board were extremely dirty.

The place was clean and the staff were great, but the air‑conditioning unit was extremely loud and didn’t cool as well as I had hoped.

The breakfast was a full hot spread—juice, coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, rolls, etc.—served at your table and far better than the typical continental breakfast at most motels, though some of the outside areas were showing their age.

The beds were not soft, we were given pool passes but the pool was closed and we couldn’t use it; we called the front desk multiple times with no response. The TV was poor, offering only about 20 channels.
