How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The bed was comfy and the room had a modern look. I liked the mini fridge, microwave, and TV. In the shower area I spotted something that looked like a dark soda splash behind the door, so I wiped it with a cloth. When I unfolded the cloth, it was stuck together and had dried mucus on it, so I bundled all the towels for the cleaning crew.

The spot was convenient and the parking lot was tidy. My family and I stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Pawleys Island and ran into a serious problem with our room. German roaches were in the room, and I found hair on the toilet seat—gross, not ours—so I had to clean it. There were hairs in our beds, so we slept on blankets. The sheets weren't clean and the blankets were stained. The property was subpar, not up to typical Wyndham standards. The Wyndham group texted me about a $30.00 pet fee after I had already checked in, then changed it to $30.00 per pet per night with no explanation, forcing me to pay. The customer service was terrible and left me in a bind. This was the worst place I've stayed through a booking app. No staff were on the premises, only a Zoom portal at the front office. The room was in sad disrepair and looked like trash; the beds were worn out. I was very upset about paying $380.00 for a dump, especially with pets, for any Wyndham property in such disrepair. This was a -100 out of 1 to 10.

The place was so bad I left a few hours after arriving. It smelled like mildew and the tub looked like it wouldn't even hold a dog. I stayed because I was tired, but I had a 4‑year‑old granddaughter with me. The building's exterior looked nice, but the interior was horrible and not even suitable for a homeless person. You should be ashamed of this place.

The hotel is close to Myrtle Beach. Nothing else to note.

The staff was very good and the location is very good. However, the first room had doors that didn’t work, the front door and the bathroom door were broken, the bathroom was dirty, and there wasn’t much room in the bathroom to shower or use the facilities.
