The accommodation was nice and the location was good, but there were only public parking spaces nearby that could be occupied. There is no restaurant within walking distance. The area is great for activities and has several highlights. The yogurt, jam, and variety at breakfast could have been more diverse.

It was a bit off the beaten track, which we liked. The wine and cheese tasting event at the property was wonderful. It was great value and we enjoyed meeting other travelers. Breakfast was excellent. We arrived mid‑afternoon on a Sunday and the small parking lot down the street was already full. The host told us to park on the tiny street in front of the hotel and said “it should be fine” but didn’t convey much confidence. We were glad to see our car the next morning.

Staying at a little winery in Slap was lovely. We were cycling and immediately had access to fabulous routes right out the door. Slap is a quiet village with no café, so food options (besides a nice breakfast at Zorz) required driving into Bipava a short distance away. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Tanya who arranged great cycling routes for us. The shower had no barrier or door, so water ran into the bathroom; we used the bath mat to soak up the overflow and were careful to direct the spray away from the opening.

We came from a pretty bad accommodation, so the comparison was striking. It was very comfortable, not super luxurious, but very pretty in a quirky wine town. The smell was great between the outside vines and the air freshener. The breakfast was by far the best of the trip. They also let us have a wine at night. In general, nothing bad happened.
