Unfortunately, my stay was marred by a few issues. The futon provided was extremely heavy and uncomfortable to use, which was a problem for me due to my sensitive feet. I found it surprising that such a heavy quilt was still being used in this day and age. As someone with spinal stenosis, the heavy futon caused me a lot of discomfort.

My stay at this charming mountain retreat was truly enjoyable, thanks to the warm hospitality of the owner, Akiko. She prepared delicious authentic Japanese meals that were a highlight of my trip. The property's serene location, close to hiking trails, and well-maintained accommodation made my stay even more relaxing. I appreciated the cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere of the property.

My stay was pleasant, thanks to the owner's kindness and the delicious meals she prepared. However, the public bath was quite small, and I was disappointed to find that there was no microwave or electric kettle in the room. These were minor issues, but they did detract from my overall experience.

The meals at this property were generous in portion and delicious, which was a highlight of my stay.
