I appreciate the graveyard staff. Any hour of the day or night, I am always welcomed into a clean, quiet, and affordable motel room. Staff is respectful and always willing to help and answer any questions I might have about staying in a room. I was checked in quickly with no wait time. Thank you to Bubba for always welcoming me to a comfortable good night's sleep and a fresh shower in the morning before check-out. I love this motel for a mini getaway vacation. Best rates around. I couldn't ask for anything more. Anything I might expect of a motel stay is right there at City Center 600 W Van Buren. Good place to stay for singles, families, and more. Thank you, City Center. An extra thank you to the graveyard shift. Bubba works graveyard, and she is so friendly and helpful. Every time I stay over, I have a good night. I was so comfortable I didnt want to check out. I will be back to stay more nights in the near future. Thats how much i LIKE staying there because of Bubba and her warm welcome. Bubba you are awesome, thank you

The staff are very professional and attentive. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have good air conditioning. It’s quiet, safe, and cozy—my go‑to motel. The bathtubs are great for long soaks to deeply relax. Thanks to City Center, the staff, and owner Jagu, who are there every day to keep the property running. The only issue was that I couldn’t get the TV to work properly; it wouldn’t let me watch any movie channels or other channels, no matter what I tried.

The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful, and I felt the night crew kept a close eye on my car; the hotel is within walking distance of where I needed to go, and unlike other places I didn’t pay extra for parking. The room itself feels more like a 2‑star motel: the top sheet and fitted sheet are similar shades but don’t match, there’s no comforter, yet the bed and pillow look new, and I spotted a single roach in the bathroom—though that’s not a deal‑breaker for me. If I’m in downtown Phoenix again, I’ll look for other reasonable options but might come back.
