Food and staff. Too many stairs

The location is good, and the breakfast and lunch were tasty, but the stay felt a bit pricey; the taxi rates charged by the hotel were a little high, and the toilet had an unpleasant smell.

The resort is stunning, with beautiful interiors and excellent food, and its location is fantastic—just 3 km by car from Mall Road and a 7‑minute downhill walk to Naina Devi Temple, where a free shuttle runs until 8 pm to bring guests back. We appreciated the fan they provided on request, the lush trees, and the wonderful staff. Evening high tea and a bonfire were highlights, and the lake view at night was spectacular. The room size is small and can feel claustrophobic, and there are many steps from reception to parking that may not suit the elderly, although wheelchair assistance is offered.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel, which was nestled in a cozy hilltop location. However, the view wasn't particularly impressive, which was a letdown. Despite this, I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and comfortable setting.
